Is the Power Platform French Summit over?
👉 No, the Power Platform French Summit is not stopping. The 2025 Paris edition - usually held at the end of the year - has been postponed, but that doesn't mean the end of the event. A new edition is already planned for 2026 (either in Paris and/or in the regions), and we are looking for an affordable venue that meets the constraints of hosting an event of this scale. The aim is to keep the Power Platform community alive through various meetings and events (e.g. the 1st regional edition in Nantes in June 2025 - which you can still watch on Replay).
Will the association behind the PPFS stop?
👉 No, the association is continuing its activities. Even if the 2025 Paris edition of the Power Platform French Summit is cancelled, our commitment remains intact. The team remains mobilized through other initiatives such as the French Power Break, and we're already working on imagining the future of the PPFS. This break is an opportunity for us to reorganize, reflect, and come back stronger in 2026.
Why has the Paris 2025 event been cancelled?
👉 Several reasons led to this decision, carefully considered and discussed with the entire organization team:
- A committed team since 2020: For five years now, the PPFS team has been working tirelessly to bring this event to life. As an association, we operate solely on the voluntary involvement ofpassionate people, who juggle their jobs, family lives, community involvement and organizational responsibilities. This demands a great deal of time and energy, and we felt that a break was necessary to preserve this balance.
- Increasing financial constraints: The financial aspect remains an essential pillar for the success of an event of this scale. Costs associated with Parisian venues, technical services and logistics have risen sharply, with substantial advance payments required. In an uncertain economic climate, raising the necessary funds is becoming more and more complex for an associative like ours. To give everyone an idea, and in full transparency with you, the estimated cost is around €100,000 for 2 days in Paris. All of this will be covered by sponsors and a small charge on physical ticket prices.
- A reflection on technological evolution and formats: Recent technological developments (AI around the Power Platform) are also prompting us to rethink the way we value the community and its content. We want to continue promoting inclusivity, encouraging customer feedback, offering opportunities to new speakers, promoting human encounters and preserving the spirit of benevolence that has been dear to us from the outset. This break will enable us to better adapt the PPFS to current expectations, while remaining true to our values.
